Welcome Back, Captains! ✈️
Tomorrow marks a special milestone—15 years since Position and Hold, A Flight Simulation Blog first took flight on September 2, 2010. What began as a personal effort to document my journey in the flight simulation hobby has grown into a space where I’ve been fortunate to give back, share insights, and help fellow simmers navigate the skies—virtually, of course.
Over the past decade and a half, I’ve answered hundreds of questions from both newcomers and seasoned pilots across platforms like FSX, Prepar3D, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, and now MSFS 2024. The mission has always been simple: to foster community, share knowledge, and celebrate the joy of flight simulation. That mission remains unchanged today.
This blog is truly a labor of love. In an era filled with countless ways to create and consume content, I’m grateful to continue sharing through the written word—and even more grateful for the loyal readership that keeps coming back. Your engagement fuels my passion, and I’m excited to see where the next 15 years will take us.
Thank you, as always, for stopping by. Here’s to clear skies, smooth landings, and many more virtual adventures ahead.
Until next time…
Happy Flying!
