Happy Thanksgiving, Captains!
As we taxi into the holiday season, I just want to take a moment to say thank you — not just for flying along with me, but for being part of a community that continues to inspire, support, and elevate one another.
Whether you’re cruising at FL350 in the Fenix or troubleshooting GSX quirks on the ground, this time of year reminds us that flight simulation is more than just a hobby. It’s a shared adventure. It’s the late-night Discord chats, the “aha!” moments after a successful camera setup, and the joy of helping a newcomer get their first virtual flight off the ground.
This Thanksgiving, I’m especially grateful for:
- The developers who keep pushing the boundaries of immersion
- The veterans who pass down hard-earned wisdom
- The newcomers who bring fresh energy and curiosity
- And all of you who’ve followed my journey — from around-the-world flights to the nitty-gritty of add-on management
MSFS 2020 may not be the newest bird in the hangar, but it still flies strong. And so do we. As I continue documenting my adventures and refining workflows, I hope you’ll keep sharing your stories too. Let’s keep building a simming culture that’s welcoming, purposeful, and just plain fun.
So wherever you are — whether you’re flying solo or gathered with family — I wish you clear skies, smooth landings, and a Thanksgiving filled with warmth and gratitude.
Happy Thanksgiving, and thank you for being part of this journey.
